Insects/Bugs/Spiders 25 images Created 27 Nov 2013
It's interesting how we start out in photography. I think most people photograph their kids (my husband did that), so I photographed our cat. I then ventured on to flower setups, landscapes, and then zoo critters. It took me many years before I got interested in "bugs" - and bugs meaning insects, butterflies, dragonflies, etc., but once I got "bitten" by the "bug", I was hooked. I've learned to love the little guys - they are so beautiful when you look at them through your camera with a closeup macro lens. We really DO need to slow down and smell the roses and look at the little things in life. So...I'd recommend that the next time you go for a walk, stop and look down because you'll be surprised what is right under your nose.
