| Description: | I love going to Bosque del Apache in New Mexico - it's a tremendous place to do Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese - and - you don't need to do it with a photo group either - you can do it by yourself. I was trying to do some different kinds of shots - slow shutter speeds, panning with my camera, etc. It isn't as easy as it looks because "something" has to be in focus (and not the trees or grass!) - preferably a bird, or at least one head. Some people may not like this, but it happens to be one of my favorites...sort of an "artsy" kind of shot. |

Hi Judy,
I saw your show "in the flesh" at the library. Perhaps, as you say, some people might not like this photo, but I much preferred your more "impressionistic" photos like this one. Sharp, close-up images of birds and animals are a dime a dozen, but work like this demands a sense of artistry which you obviously have.
I also commend you for finding your "niche" in photography and sticking to it. Keep up the good work.
