| Description: | Something caught my eye - something big and brown - flying by my window. When I looked out, I had four Northern Flickers in my yard pecking at the grass. We had just run the lawn sprinkler - so I'm assuming they were looking for bugs or worms that were coming out. I've never seen them in a "flock" before. My Robins were right behind them. Pretty exciting - it's too bad I wasn't prepared for some great shots. |
